How do I create a gallery wall?
Start with the largest poster, place it slightly left or right of centre and build the smaller ones around it. Keep the same spacing between all frames so the wall looks cohesive, even with different sizes.
How much space should there be between frames?
5-8 cm between frames works on most gallery walls. The more and smaller the frames, the closer they can hang.
How do I plan the gallery wall before drilling?
Cut out paper the size of the frames and stick it up with masking tape. You can move things around until you're happy and mark the holes straight through the paper. On every poster you can also use "Try the poster on your wall" to see it on a photo of your own wall.
Which sizes go together on a gallery wall?
Mix two or three sizes, e.g. 50x70, 30x40 and A3, or stick to one size in a strict grid. All our frames come in oak, dark oak and black wood, and one consistent frame colour ties the wall together.
Do all the posters need to match in style?
No, but a common thread helps: a recurring colour, the same type of motif or the same frame colour. Our poster walls are put together in advance if you want a ready-made solution.
