We know how important it is to choose the right size when bringing new art into your home, so we've created this size guide to help you find the perfect size that will complement both your wall and your decor.

At Peléton, we never compromise on quality, which is why we print on thick 230g environmentally certified paper with a museum-quality matte surface. The paper is age-resistant, which means that both colors, depth and structure are beautifully preserved over time - without fading. The result is a poster that keeps its expression year after year.

The vast majority of our art posters are available in several different sizes. The size always refers to the paper format of the poster itself.

Frames

The frame dimensions indicate the size of the posters they fit. The outer dimensions of the frame itself will be slightly larger, depending on the profile and size chosen. The frames in sizes A4 to 50x70 cm have a width and depth of 1.5 cm and are supplied with real glass. In sizes over 70x100 cm, the frames measure 2 cm in both width and depth and come with plexiglass that imitates real glass.

The oak frames are made of solid oak. The dark version is stained to achieve a deep, warm tone, while the black frame is made of black-painted pine with the same elegant profile.

All frames are equipped with metal hangers on two sides and can therefore be hung both vertically and horizontally. The frames are designed to make it easy to frame and exchange posters – even if you already have a poster and just need the right frame in the same size.

Available sizes

Our art posters are available in several sizes, so you can easily find the perfect solution for your wall. Some formats are close in size, but still create different visual expressions.

A4 is a compact size, equivalent to a standard A4 sheet. It is ideal for smaller spaces, fits well on a shelf in a bookcase or as an extra detail on a picture wall.

A3 & 30×40 cm are both flexible sizes that work well alone or in combination with other posters. A3 has a more elongated format, while 30×40 cm is slightly wider and appears more balanced. Both are good choices for narrower walls, above a desk or as part of a picture wall.

A2 & 40 × 50 cm are both sizes that give a stronger visual expression without dominating the room. A2 has a taller rectangular shape, while 40 × 50 cm is more square. Both sizes are particularly suitable above a chest of drawers, as part of a picture wall or as a nice detail in a larger room.

50 x 50 cm is a square size that creates a nice balance on a wall. It works beautifully as a stand-alone work or as part of a picture wall, where it can give a calm and graphic expression. Perfect for both the living room, office or entrance hall, where you want a format with character without taking up too much space.

A1 and 50×70 cm are both popular choices for larger walls. A1 has a longer look that makes it ideal for spacious walls, while 50×70 cm is a classic poster size in many homes. Whether hanging alone as a stylish statement, leaning against the wall on a piece of furniture or integrated into a picture wall, it fits perfectly into any home.

70 × 100 cm is a statement piece that works best on larger walls or in open spaces where the poster can stand out. The size corresponds approximately to the width of a standard door and gives a stylish expression.

100 x 140 cm is our largest format and is known as the XL poster. It is an impressive size and is the ultimate statement on a large wall in any room it appears in. Its size makes it ideal for a large wall, where it can stand alone or be combined with other furniture. You can also style it with a bench underneath, a lamp or a chair next to it to create a harmonious balance in the interior.

If you are unsure which size is best, we recommend testing the different formats with masking tape on the wall or placing paper cutouts to see how the different sizes fit with your decor.
